About Us

The KIMO Institute was founded on March 4, 2023, by Chin Youth Leaders in response to the educational challenges faced by youths in Chin State, Myanmar. Due to the ongoing political crisis, many students lost access to both formal and informal education, further worsened by limited internet access. KIMO Institute aims to bridge this gap by providing educational opportunities, promoting sustainable development, fostering peace, and encouraging research in Chin State. Our mission is to build a peaceful society by offering quality education, particularly in crisis-affected regions, Chin State, Myanmar.
